He has experience in a wide variety of building types, including public/governmental, commercial office, parks and recreation, veterinary, dental / medical office and custom residential.
Mr. Taltavull is recognized for his work in the historic preservation field in Maryland. In his preservation work, He has become familiar with a wide variety of historic and unusual construction materials and techniques. He is well-versed in the proper methods for repair and restoration of wood, brick, concrete, and a wide variety of other materials. He is an expert at the application of modern building codes to historic structures, designing necessary modifications to achieve safety and comply with building codes while preserving the important, character-defining elements essential to the historic integrity of the building. Mr. Taltavull has a
Masters of
Architecture degree
from the Catholic University of America.
He is listed as an approved architect with the Montgomery County, Prince Georges County and State of Maryland Historic Preservation Offices.
Mr. Taltavull is a past board member of the Historic Medley District, a nonprofit Maryland preservation organization. He is licensed to practice architecture in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
