This property is part of a rare example of a Post Emancipation Settlement consisting of a church, a school and a benevolent building located within the Reisterstown Historic District. The Fellowship Hall, originally constructed in 1898, was the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows Lodge #1489.
The Fellowship Hall Rehabilitation Committee was established to preserve the historic building. Through grants from the Maryland Historical Trust and private donations the Fellowship Hall Preservation Committee raised money to begin Phase One of the rehabilitation project in 2015. TJT Architects is currently working on the stabilzation and rehabilitation plans for Phase One.
